After 10 years of employment with her dad in the mobile home business, with his retirement, Jeff & Geralyn Blohm were faced with the big decision of self employment or public work. With knowledge of the mobile home industry and seeing the need for just a store, Alexandria Mobile Home & RV Supply was opened in 1989. Starting out in a small house on Highway #431 the doors were opened. Trying to stock all the needs of the public demand required more space. In the spring of 1999, a new 6,000 sq. ft. metal building was completed next to the house. After 1999 the retail mobile home business took a deep plunge. Within the next couple of years and the closing of several retail centers in the area, the sale of parts and supplies were dropping. After 6 months of planning, in April of 2001 a decision of retail RV sales to complement the RV parts of the business was implemented. With the decision of selling RV's, Blane Hollingsworth was hired in as service technician. With Blane's 17 years of experience, we now offer all types of service work. We also carry a nice selection of used campers. All are brought in and go thru a 52 point checklist. They are given a thorough cleaning from top to bottom, inside and out. Alexandria Mobile Home & RV Supply now offers the largest selection of mobile home & RV parts in Calhoun County and the surrounding areas. In addition to parts, Jeff is also a licensed Alabama plumber and does repair and service to mobile homes in the area. We are located on Highway #431 north of Anniston at the intersection of Highway #144.
